I want to retry this time. I got much ambition and
-got a good grammar ( I always use the spelling, grammar corrector in word)
-interested in PSP (actully i love it )
-Adobe Photoshop cs2 . Remember my pic i made with the competition?
-motivation to write, be sure of that!
-good working attitude, ofcourse, otherwise i wouldnt want to become staff.
- and i wanted to make my own mag, together with sikheadtom. remember? PSPScreen mag. but it was to hard for 2. If you want the mag what we made in these weeks, . (its still a little rough)
Maybe you could make me staff for this issue and see if im good enough to stay?
I hope im being accepted.

just one question, do we need adobe photoshop to get a job in writing?
If not this is my application:
Grammar: I have very good grammer, all the time when I type, even my posts are mainly accurate when I am typing at speed.
Interest in PSP: I am always on my PSP and have around 10-11 games, I have a lot of accessories. Homebrew, I know basics about it, but it isn't my strong point
Photoshop: do I need it?
Motivation to write: I used to write reviews for my own website, but there was too much work for 3 writers, I love writing
Working attitude:yep

Hi,
I was a writer of the PSP X Mag, but sadly because of critical inactivity of other staff members, we started over.
I will re-post the reply of my previous (accepted) application.

Sometimes you will hear gamers talk of the “Good Old Days” and yes, you’ll hear the capitalization of those letters when they say it. The “Good Old Days” when games were great and were all about gameplay and that the gameplay has gone down hill since people became more interested in graphics. I played games back then, and was a fond proponent of the G.O.D. phenomenon. That is until Capcom provided me with this transportation into my gaming past.
Don’t get me wrong, I played more than a few of these games in the arcades, and I have to admit to the fact that I was looking forward to repeating the experience. My mind pushed aside the possibility of it being anything but what I recalled and I was ready to re-enter those days of gaming greatness.
Ten hours later I will admit that Capcom has brought most of them over very well. In many the controls are beautiful and work well with the PSP system (Black Tiger played like a dream, as did Final Fight and Three Wonders). In others, the recessed d-pad proves to be a hindrance, but the analog stick fared no better (Bionic Commando for instance). There are a number of unlockables as you beat key targets in each of the games, typically reach a certain point value, beat a certain level and then finish the game. These unlockables include such things as tips for beating the game, concept art, and of course the soundtrack in case you felt the need to have those repetitive tunes droning in your ears as you walk down the street. What? Do you hear the Bionic Commando music right now? Uh… no, of course not. That’s just my phone, yes, that’s it. It’s my ring tone.
Speaking of sound, I did enjoy the sound effects with the games in so far as they were true to the subject matter; they were the sounds of my past, not upgraded to appeal to the new players. No realistic sounding gunshot for you boyo.
The frustrated gamer from my past was thrilled about the ability to just continue without having to restart… But in every game, when you beat it, you were left with a feeling of “Huh? That’s it? I don’t remember it being that short.” Of course, when you were dropping in the coins you were not continuing in the same way.
All in all, it is not a bad package: it has 20 games some of which you won’t play more than once, some you’ll play at any random moment, but having a portable arcade experience is far from a bad thing. The load times are annoying, but you can definitely put up with them when the game starts. I am still a fan of gameplay, but I have compared the games of today with the games of yesterday, and they have not been found wanting. So I’ll have this game in my collection, and when I begin to speak of G.O.D. again, I’ll know what I need to do once more.
Rating: 7 out of 10

here it goes again.
Ok guys, when i first became part of the team I was happy, and , well, I want to rejoin if possible. I use my psp all the time. It is a 1.5 psp which is sweet. I also have an xbox360 in case we start doing reviews for the 360. I am very interested in becoming a staff member again. I have photoshop and I know a good amount about it. However in a couple weeks I am going to be taking a more in-depth course getting into the nitty-gritty of Photoshop over at MIT (Massachussetts Institute of Technology). You can probably tell I use correct grammar just by reading this post. So hopefully I will become a member of the team again and start to contribute to the pspxmag, the #1 PSP Mag on the net.

Oh damn, I don't have Adobe Photoshop. But maybe, my past reviews - until the compilers messed them up - were good enough anyway. If so, here goes...
My name is Sameer Farooq, I am eighteen years old, and am in my last year at school. My grammar has always been good since I was small and I never make mistakes with my spelling. I am very interesting in gaming and homebrew, and I of course do have a PSP. I usually buy something new for my PSP every month, so I will always have something to write about. I am also devoted to anything that I do, and unfortunately, I had to leave the magazine a couple of months ago to study for upcoming exams. As they are now over, I have all the spare time in the world to help out with anything you would like me to. Yes, I don't have Adobe Photoshop which has probably made this whole application pointless. To make up for that, I will do anything else you want me to, Mo. Maybe I could proof-read some of the articles before or after they are compiled? I am always motivated to write because I love writing. I am a good writer and that's what makes me interested in it. Another motivation for me is that I am taking English literature for my A levels (A levels decide which university you are going to). I do have a good working attitude and have always gotten along with my peers. I am also punctual when handing in things as I have already mentioned I have a lot of time on my hands.
Of course you don't need to see a sample of my work since I have been part of the staff here before.

not fair, im posting a longer one to:
I am ver intersted in everything of software stuff. As you know i like webdesigning and programming. I am very interested in homebrew. I would make my own c++ homebrew but i got a very bad computer so i cant setup the enviroment.I am coding Lua, still learning though. I like to write articles, thats why i wanted to mek my own mag earliyer, and i have a good spelling. sometimes my spelling wasn't very good, but we are at a forum, not a spelling exam. If i want i can spell very good, and i always double check my spelling and grammar with the corrector in word.I have Adobe Photoshop cs2, and i have good knowelegde about it. I know for sure how to insert my articles in a psd file, if needed. maybe you remember the design contest, where i was 2nd place till i got disqualified, because someone else (dont know who, i think it was sameerf, sikheadtom or jerrod(gam3rplanet)) double voted me.I also want to become moderator if thats okay. let me think......
I have 6 psp games: nfs mw,gta lcs, pursuit force, tw ho,hp 4 and wipe out pure. I have a 2.6 psp, and my sister has a 2.7, so i can test stuff on the 2.7. I have a the logic 3 travel pack, and i have internet acces(maybe we could make online competitions and announce it in the mag). I am currently searching for socom ftb to buy. And the most important thing: i am very ambitious
I really hope to be accepted

Carraig and Inix, you guys are already ont he team. Mfaheypride, you are accepted, and Boebi, I will consider you.
However, please be 100% aware that staff members must write and compile their own articles (entirely) and then e-mail me the .psd files.

Hey....give the kid a chance. Gam3rplanet, I'm looking in to seeing if it's possible to compile articles using GIMP. If it is, I'll let you know.

I really don't think it's a smart idea to make Photoshop a necessity for writers. It costs a lot of money, you know.

That's why I'm experimenting to see if GIMP works.
